Ian Roberts

Ian RobertsIan has ten years’ experience within HR and training, and for the past four years has worked as a consultant in this field with a wide range of public and private sector clients.

He has a proven track record in design and delivery of training and assessment products – from bespoke events for senior managers, to large-scale classroom events for front line staff.

His training work focuses on human resource management courses, including diversity, tackling bullying and harassment, trainer development/train the trainer, employment law for line managers, recruitment interviewing and assessor training. He has also project-managed a range of learning and development interventions, including graduate development programmes and training needs analysis. He has a positive, enthusiastic delivery style and is able to adapt his approach to a range of audiences and delivery methods, including small group and individual coaching.

Ian’s assessment work ranges from ad-hoc management recruitment events, through graduate recruitment programmes to large-scale manager profiling and development centres. He works closely with his clients to ensure that all parts of the assessment process are integrated and clearly link to business needs, and has project managed the end-to-end recruitment process.

Ian is a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and is currently studying part time for an MSc in Strategic Change Management. He has also completed his Level A and B certificate in Professional Competence for Occupational Testing (psychometric profiling and ability testing).
